How to Create Dot-to-Dot Printables for Number Recognition

Here is how you can generate custom dot-to-dot printables to support your child's math journey.
Why Dot-to-Dots Work
When a child connects dots from 1 to 20, they aren't just reciting numbers from memory; they are actively searching for the physical representation of the next number, solidifying their understanding of number sequencing.
Step 1: Open the Generator
Go to the SketchKiddo Studio and select the Dot-to-Dot activity.
Step 2: Select the Number Range
Tailor the activity to your child's current counting ability:
- Beginner (Ages 3-4): Numbers 1-10 or 1-20.
- Intermediate (Ages 5-6): Numbers 1-50.
- Advanced (Ages 7+): Numbers 1-100 or even skip counting (e.g., counting by 2s, 5s, or 10s).
Step 3: Choose the Hidden Image
What will the dots reveal? You can select exactly what you want the final picture to be from the predefined themes. If you're doing a unit on farm animals, select a "Horse" or "Barn". If it's Halloween time, try a "Jack-o'-lantern".
